I'm not sure what device or browser you are using, but this works just like any text editing in mobile mode, and works like all online editors based on codemirror.net. I don't have any problems.

Maybe, but what are you going to use this for? This is PHP running on your server, and normally it's locked to operate within certain permissions. Also, if you change permissions for a file to 444 (or something else non-writeable), you can't change it back, because there is no "sudo" or password to assign permissions from PHP/server.

Not sure what that "touch" on your screen is doing, but it works as expected here. Delete lines continuously, or select another line, below or above, regardless of if the current line is entirely deleted or not.

Definitely normal behavior. If it's not on your device, then you need to post the issue in https://github.com/codemirror/dev/.

osworldolosys Try the demo's on https://codemirror.net/5/demo/theme.html, because we simply used codeMirror. In your video, it's hard to see even see what you are doing or what's going on ... it just looks like the keyboard is vanishing when you click new lines perhaps ...

GLACIER Ok, I have updated into the current release branch, but need to do some tests. The reason this was not updated earlier, is because CodeMirror 6 branch originally only released ESM modules , so there was no standalone resources ... It seems this has been amended with latest release 6.65.7. New release should be out in 4-6 weeks time.

What I'm not convinced about, they did not reply with any specific issue link to your report? Have you even tried a working CodeMirror 6 demo to make sure it works in new version on your device/browser? I can't find any other issue reported on Github specifically with what you have reported.
