OK, javascript version. I found a better solution, non-javascript solution π Open index.php
, around line 1890
:
<div id="files-container"><div id="files" class="list files-<?php echo config::$config['layout']; ?>"></div></div>
Add your footer element before the last </div>
:
<div id="files-container"><div id="files" class="list files-<?php echo config::$config['layout']; ?>"></div><div class="my-footer">Add your HTML here <strong>bold</strong> or <a href="mailto:you@email.com">you@email.com</a></div></div>
Here is the custom footer element sample, containing some HTML and assigned a my-footer
class for styling:
<div class="my-footer">Add your HTML here <strong>bold</strong> or <a href="mailto:you@email.com">you@email.com</a></div
CSS
You will want to style this element. I assume you already have the files _files/css/custom.css
? Open it and add something like this:
#files-container {
display: flex;
flex-direction: column;
}
.myfooter {
padding: 1rem;
background: #263238;
color: white;
margin-top: auto;
}
Obviously you will want to provide your own HTML and your own styling.
PS! Don't update to new Files releases, unless you are ready to migrate the fix into the update. I might consider including custom header and footer as options.
