Do you have a screenshot of search that is key sensitive? You should always search in lower case, and it should display files in MiXeD CaSe, like the screenshot below.
I see now that it should probably ignore the SeArCh input itself also, if this is mixed case ... but why use mixed case in search in the first place? Search should be lower case, because it's case-insensitive anyway.
