Yes, as noted in a previous post in this topic, I didn't announce the long-term release date of this version correctly. However, as I noted in my original response to this topic 22 days ago:

And now a few weeks later, it's pretty much ready, and I just need a couple of days as soon as I am back in the office tomorrow. I don't see how things have changed much from this recent response which is on target.

Hm, 3 months after 1-2 months 🙂
My best bet is that new version will not land before August, just like 0.6.0, 0.7.0 and 0.8.0

I used to have the urge to please my customers by giving them time-frame which would make them happy,
instead of realistic one based on experience.
My intention was to poke you a bit to give more realistic time frame. 😉
So, by all means, take your time, as much as needed. Development cant be rushed, otherwise bugs everywhere.
I will be happy if you deploy it in August, like previous 3 major versions.

Krx Yea, I guess especially this release took way longer than anticipated, caused by a domino effect of required changes from new features. It's not easy to anticipate the timeline for these things, and I only try to offer release dates if requested. I'm probably a slow developer, but when things need to get done in a certain way for a unique app, it takes as long time as it takes.

It's not like I'm thinking "I guess this will take 9 months, but I will tell the customer 3 months". If someone asks, I will say what I think, and this one I got wrong. I did do much more than anticipated for this release, because it made sense as things are connected.

Anyway, this release will certainly be out within a few days now, as it's practically complete. I just need to polish a few new interface elements.

Johnny91 The new version is ready, I just need to create a post and publish it. I'm actually on holiday this week, back on Tuesday, so it will likely be Wednesday next week.

osworldolosys That requires publishing first and updating version numbers, NPM and CDN. I would if I could. Please just wait until it’s out, I’m working full throttle on this project. If updates and releases are not satisfactory to you, then surely you can find something better elsewhere.

New version 0.9.0 is out already since yesterday, but I need to write a post. Go ahead and download and update.

I actually tried it. but when it asks me to enter the Key code again and I press save. its just stuck
(fresh install)

Johnny91 That doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the new version. You can send link to karl @ photo.gallery.

Alternatively, you can just add the license_key option manually to config.php.

@Karl its a bug , try making fresh installation and open page on mobile device you will see when you try to enter license page gets black and save button does not work

Another bug i noticed is when you put "true" on zipdownload in index.php. u can't download gallery as zip, only when you put true also on mass download.
