Good morning, First of all, congratulations for the program, really beautiful and functional. I rent Photobooths and during events, in addition to the physical print, I share the photos taken. Currently for weddings I leave the gallery link (using your program) and the guests download their photos. However, in commercial events this is not possible because guests must only be able to download the photo they have just taken. So I ask if it is possible a mode that displays the last photo uploaded to the server with the qrcode overlay. In practice, near the photobooth I would like to place a tablet that displays the last photo uploaded with its QR code, leaving the possibility of scrolling through previous shooting sessions. I had to read this a couple of times. It's unclear what you mean "mode that displays the last photo". Files Gallery is a file browser that displays files and folders. As long as you upload the photo into a folder, then it will display in that folder ... it doesn't matter if it is "last" photo or not, it will display, as long as you upload it there.

As for "qrcode overlay", where does this qrcode come from? Even if there was a system in place for this, the qrcode would need to get uploaded somewhere. All in all, I can't see how there is any pattern for Files Gallery to integrate anything like this, unless it's a custom implementation.

Hi and sorry if I wasn't clear. In practice I would like it to be possible to view the photos in full screen on the tablet positioned near the photobooth (and this is already possible), but with the QRcode of the link of the photo currently displayed (qrcode overlaid or next to it). The guest will have the opportunity to scan the QR code and download only their photo onto their device (there is always an operator near the photobooth) This is necessary in commercial events where the guests don't know each other (so they only have to download their photo), whereas in parties (such as weddings) I leave the link to the entire photo collection and everything is simpler. You mean you want Files Gallery to generate this QR link for you? I suppose it's technically possible, but I can't see how this would make it's way into an official release. That layer with the QR code would have to implemented into the Javascript, and we would probably use an external QR code generator to create the QR. The iPad is connected to the internet?

Yes .
Both the photobooth and the tablet are connected to the internet.
During the event the photobooth updates the server folder at each photo session.
The tablet also connected to the internet displays the images of that event.

I currently use a php created by me (really terrible) which shows me on the tablet the last photo uploaded to the server and the respective QR code for the photo client to download.
I wish your program could do the same thing, retiring my crappy program

Keep in mind, with Files Gallery, there is no dedicated feature to "show the last photo uploaded". You could of course refresh the dir, and the last photo would be at top. There would also be other older photos there, unless you delete the older photos. If the file name of the latest file is always the same, then you could of course just refresh the popup address of this file name, and it will display latest image, as long as images are not set to cache.

I guess I'm saying the above, because I'm not quite sure why you are using Files Gallery. Of course it's useful for browsing files and photos, but it seems like you are just using it to view a single "latest" photo? In which case, if a client came to me and asked me for that, I would also create it standalone like you have done, because I don't quite understand what you are using Files Gallery for here ...

Also, how do you make the QR code?

I cannot share the entire album, but I have to give them the opportunity to download their single photo.
to do this I currently use my ugly program (which displays the last photo taken and the related photo link in the form of an automatically generated qrcode).

I would like it to be possible to show the QR code of the photo link on your program too.

Romeoegiuliettaeventi You could of course use Files Gallery to share the entire album, and a separate application to display the single image with the QR. I can't really understand why they need to be the same application, if it's for two different things.

I'm not trying to be difficult, but there are a couple of reasons I am suggesting this.

If a client came to me and asked for an app that shows the latest photo with a QR code, I would create it as a separate app just for this purpose.
It's more complicated to add this feature into Files Gallery, than just having a separate app for it.
I would need to charge you to implement this into Files Gallery. This is not a feature that I can generally promote to others, as it's too specific.

Okay,
it was only my desire (and that of the photobooth community) to have everything in a single file because we lack the possibility of browsing old photo sessions in case a guest forgot to download the photo.

I am currently satisfied with your program and renew my compliments for the graphics and exceptional speed.

Romeoegiuliettaeventi Your suggestions are much appreciated, and it's an interesting feature. I may consider adding it to an official release, but it's not currently a priority.
