Karl I kinda need to ask: Is there any reason you can't then instead just embed the streams or add them as links that play the video, in a separate HTML website?
Yes, I'm not programmer so I don't know how to integrate my streams in web-players. The only streams I have been able to show in a HTML are the mjpeg ones because html <img> tag accepts it directly with this simple line:
<img src="http://[some ip]:[port]/mjpg">
For all the others streams I have to use PC-software to view... but I would like to see them on website, because then I could see them from anywhere, instead from my laptop-office-software only.
I saw that file.gallery can show embeds / videos so I thought that maybe would be possible see my streams using the same video-players-embeds from file.gallery. If it would possible, then... I could finally see my streams from anywhere in a simple way.
I don't know if this is possible, or if is too much work to do, or maybe I'm missing something due to my zero programming knowledge.
If you think it's worth trying to improve file.gallery, great, I would help in some way, but if you think it wouldn't be very useful for the gallery, don't worry, I understand it and I know there must be other cool things to do on the roadmap of this great script.
