Read-only list, edit if logged in

Is it possible to adjust the settings so anyone can land on the file list and access the files, but only logged-in user can upload, edit and delete, CMS-style?
As far as I can see, if there is user and password protection, one will need to log in to see anything at all. Is this correct?

This feature is not available yet, but is high priority, as noted under "What next?" in latest release post: "Multi user login, so we can implement different permission levels per user."

As of right now, there is either login or not login, but they can't be combined. Until multi-user feature is implemented, there is a basic workaround that involves using two installations pointing to the same dir.
