Ok, I see. The problem is that you have copied the entire sample from the Javascript config docs. Not only does it include options you don't want, but since it was just meant as examples of sections, there is a missing comma, causing a syntax error

Try this simplified code:

After adding the code above, it could be browser is still showing a cached favicon for a while, in which case you should try a different browser or "private" window. Your own favicon.ico
is definitely there, and it automatically be used by the browser when not assigned from Files Gallery. I think the reason you had an inconclusive error previously, was that the browser default favicon load is interrupted as soon as Files Gallery injects it's default favicon.
Of course, you could also assign your favicon through the config also:
_c.config = {
favicon: "<link rel=\"icon\" href=\"/favicon.ico\" />"
}
However, browsers will always try to load favicon.ico
from your root dir, so this is not necessary.
