Global search will not be in the forthcoming release no. The current feature you see FILTER is not limited, but how it's supposed to work to easily and quickly filter items in current view, for example for selection or download. Global search will be a separate feature, because it's much slower, loading data from the server, and will output results which are entirely unrelated to the current directory.

Karl hi karl.. any update on global search on file name? as current search only listing file in the specific folder.. as per example if i have ABC file in 3 different folder.. the search fucntion will be able to retrieve the result of location of these 3 ABC files..

hadi Hello. Sorry, no update on global search, and it's not included in the forthcoming release in a few weeks with extended file manager features. It will eventually be a feature, but I can't give you an immediate timeline for this unfortunately.

Thanks for bumping this request. I don't think individual contributions can speed this up, and it wouldn't be fair to accept financial contributions for features that will be public anyway. However, now that multi-USER logins is ready, global SEARCH should be quite high on the list of new features to add. I will be looking into it.

How much? You mean when? This year, maybe within the summer, but I can't yet be more specific sorry.
