maxwell_tr Question 1: When I buy this script, can I upload it unlimitedly to 60 different folders under a single domain name?
Yes.
maxwell_tr Question 2: Can I manage 60 different users and 60 different image folders from a single settings file?
Possibly, but this is a bit tricky ...
First of all, what do you mean manage "users"? In Files gallery there is only login and password. If you want to create different logins for each folder, that can be done, but then the logins would need to be created in a file local to each installation ... There is no "one" file that you can manage users and logins for multiple installations.
As for managing SETTINGS, you could point all installations to a single config.php
file, but this is only useful for SHARED (common) settings ... Unique settings would have to be stored in _filesconfig.php
local to each dir.
Personally, I would do it like this:
- Create an empty file
index.php
with a single line <?php require '/path/to/files/index.php'
pointing to your main Files gallery file. Then you can distribute this file into your folders, while you only need to maintain a single main Files index.php
. This would be useful for instance when upgrading Files gallery, or if you want to temporarily disable all galleries.
- Then in the same dir with your main Files gallery, you can maintain your main shared config
/path/to/files/_files/config/config.php
. Settings here will apply for all galleries.
- Then you would need to maintain a file
_filesconfig.php
in each dir, where you can have unique settings for each dir. You would need at least one setting in this file 'storage_path' => '/path/to/files/_files',
, which means each unique dir will load config from the main install location, and will also store all cache in the main dir.
For the "main" application dir, you could for example set it up to for your own access with access to the root of all dirs. Or you could just keep it as a "placeholder" dir for the application, config and cache. You wouldn't want this dir accessible for your users or anyone except yourself of course.
Hope you get the idea, but you probably need a bit more help a long the way.
