cajorys Yes i mean to hide a top left toggle, because most of users will visit a gallery only via desktop browser. Almost nobody with mobile or tablet device. It is possible to hide that? I know it is a bit confusing and that button have some priority for smaller devices but for my opinion it is unnecessarily.
I already gave the code for the custom CSS:
#sidebar-toggle {
display: none;
}
With the above, the menu will not be available for mobile devices of course. I don't know about your case, but mobile users are a large percentage of average web visitors. If you want to hide it for desktop and keep it for mobile, use the code provided in my previous response.
cajorys So for explanation, site is www.myprimarysite.com , and the gallery is on sub folder, www.galery.myprimarysite.com, so there will be a button to get back to main page.
Thanks for explaining. I don't consider that a "back" button, because it's really just a "link". You can't currently add custom buttons to Files app, so something like that would need to be hacked with some custom javascript. It's possible, but clumsy.
cajorys and of course it will be good to have a button to go back to parent directory too. I mean, it will be gallery for older people so they need to have a really "simple" solution and for them it is better to have a button than going trought breadcrumbs.
This definitely won't be an option from Files app, because not even desktop browsers (also made for old people) have anything like that. They have BACK button, and combined with the breadcrumbs menu, visitors have sufficient options to navigate back to previous dir. If they can't do that, then I don't see how they can use a computer or internet.
cajorys Okay, and when that release will be released?
You mean the option of running Files app without internet? I can't give an exact date, but later this year, probably before the summer. You will still need to run Files app from a web server that supports PHP of course.
